Ok,I just thought I had a cold,soar throught,and sniffles. I just downloaded this flashlight app to look at my tonsils and they are HUGE!!! it looks like two jumbo golf balls are in the back of my throat:( it hurts sooo bad! I can't go to the doctors because my brother's b-day is tomorrow (day after valentine's day,cool huh?) And my dads b-day 2 days after that! And my are really tight on money so the hospital is not an option. How can I reduce the swelling? It hurts very much but I can still swallow. I'm 13,thanks!

My girlfriend is extremely insecure and controlling. To her credit, she was absolutely honest with me up front about her "tendencies" but said during her 7 months of being single prior to dating me, she had softened up a bit. (Her ex-boyfriend of 2 years broke up with her for being smothering). We have now been dating for about a year and a half. She is an extremely good looking girl and I catch guys eyeballing her all the time, which really doesn't bother me because she makes me feel very secure. Anyway, over the past several months, she has gained about 15-20# and now has an extremely distorted body image. She is always wearing baggy clothing. We go to the beach often, but she wears pants and a t-shirt…i haven't even seen her in a bikini in over a year. In the bedroom, it has to be VERY dark b/c she really doesn't want me to see her. Usually she keeps herself covered up. She rarely intiates sex. I try my best to keep showing interest and initiating sex but her worsening insecurity is driving a stake through our relationship and I find myself less and less attracted to her. Onto her controlling behavior. If she ever caught me watching porn–game over (she was up front about this from the beginning). If she ever caught me at a strip club–game over. If she ever caught me at a bachelor party–game over. I can see her point on the porn, strip club, and bachelor parties so I don't even make it a point to argue on those issues. I would be crucified if she ever heard me make a comment about another girl being "hot" (like a celebrity), I'm never allowed to watch any movies that are just "stupid porn movies" in her eyes (i.e., she's out of my league, american pie, spartacus)

What really drives me nuts is her never allowing me to hang out with my friends when she's not around. Her argument is that she trusts me, she just doesn't trust my friends (which all my friends are young professionals in steady/engaged relationships, making this an invalid point). I'm not even talking about hitting the bars or clubs with my friends, for a "guys night"–i'm talking she won't even let me go over to a friend's house to play poker or go to the beach with my friends if she can't be there to monitor me. About the extent of my freedom is she's okay with me going fishing or golfing or hanging out with ONE friend at a time. We are always the first to leave any social function. I ALWAYS get attitude any time I want to do stuff, even though i'm bringing her with me. If she had it her way, she would stay in bed and watch tv/movies 24×7. Bottom line: If she is unavailable (i.e., b/c she's at work), any activity I choose to do I HAVE to do it alone. Obviously, I have enough respect for myself that I put my foot down when she's clearly crossing the line, which just results in a HUGE argument followed by hourse of silent pouting showing me how unhappy she is with my decision to go against her wishes. Also, whenver we are out w/ friends, I get the sense she is just staring at me waiting for me to say/do something that violates the rules of our relationship that "we agreed upon when we first started dating". Before everybody thinks I'm a total asshole, I've done nothing to deserve this lack of trust (she is just scarred from past relationships). I make it a point to tell her often how beautiful she is and try my best to make her feel secure. BUUT, to reiterate, it is taking more of a conscious effort to act this away around her because, quite frankly, I am starting to hate her. And the funniest part is, she's been hearing wedding bells since the day we started dating and just can't seem to understand why I haven't put a ring on her finger (she throws a 2 day silent temper tantrum any time somebody she knows gets engaged). I am very honest with her and tell her how I feel about her controlling and insecure behavior…HOPING that it will somewhat improve…she always apologizes after our fights…but nothing ever gets resolved. I have even told her that I'm becoming increasingly miserable but all she tells me is how happy she is with me and how much she loves me and how much she needs me. I'm the kind of person that wants to exhaust all measures before breaking things off, but I'm reaching a boiling point here. And if you're wondering why I have put up with such (in my opinion) "abusive" behavior for so long and not ended it awhile ago, is because, quite frankly (and shallowly) she is very attractive, is very loyal to me, is very street smart, and will be a good mother…Any advice or anybody out there that can relate to my experience (b/c I'm starting to become brainwashed that the way she treats me is normal behavior and a sign of love and sacrifice but I have to constantly remind myself that how she treats me is not ok).

Asked: What freshwater aquarium snails can live with a betta?

I have a 3 gallon tank with a heater and filter for my betta Trevor. There is some algae growing in it, and i think a snail would clean it up good and look cool. I want a snail that:
Cleans Algae
Doesn't grow bigger than a golf ball
Needs another snail to reproduce(I only want one)
Gets along with a betta
The betta has a nice personality and wouldnt try to attack the snail

Asked: subchorionic hematoma? help!?

On October 29th i went to make dinner and while i was starting dinner i felt a gush ( it felt like i peed myself). I went to the ER where i had to wait 20 minutes to see a doctor anyways i was bleeding HEAVY for 2-3 hours then it finally slowed down. i passed HUGE clots some were small some were bigger than golf balls! I then had an ultrasound and we saw the baby he/she was healthy, kicking and moving around and the heartbeat was 176!!!!! it was the scariest thing ive ever been through. anyways ive been spotting since the night it happened it will be very light sometimes brown, sometimes pink, sometimes red, and sometimes i wont even be spotting. I don't have cramps or anything and im put on strict bed rest for 4-8 weeks. Has anyone else been through this? is spotting normal? did you go on to have a good pregnancy? i have an appointment tomorrow and ill keep you guys updated!!!

Asked: There’s a HUGE mat on my dog?

Okay so don't judge me by the actual question, i regularly comb my dog like everyday, the least every other day. But today while i was combing him i decided to comb his ears more then i usually comb then and when i lifted his fluffy ear there was this HUGE (like 2 golf balls big) mat that was hiding under his big fluffy ear. It wasn't in his ear but like he has a big ear and its like a bit under the ear hole. Hes a Maltese puppy so hes all white and fluffy but it was just huge, i used some scissors to cut off most of it but the rest it like really close to his skin and i cant get it out. I'm gonna take him to the groomers to get shaved soon cause he doesn't go out much in the winter but in the future i'd like to know how to get rid of mats all sizes instead of letting the groomers do it every time. I have a detangling spray that i got from Petsmart, its pink and i spray it on him when he gets brushed but not every time. I don't think it works too well but i wouldn't know cause my dog usually doesn't have that many mats. Will conditioner help with mats? I'm was planning to get conditioner sometime soon anyways so ill just get it. And how do groomers get rid of mats? Do they use a machine or a special tool? If so where can i get one? Also any tips to get rid of the stains on his white moustache and near his eyes, I've tried tear stain removers but none of them really works. And any other tips about grooming or brushing would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Asked: do cherry tomatoes grow big?

i am growing some cherry tomatoes they are big red but they just started producing flowers. but my dad has been growing tomatoes 2 different varieties in a hydroponics system and i just noticed 1 is just like a regular cherry tomato i think it's like sweet 100 or something while the other is HUGE. it looks like a roma tomato. it's like the size of a golf ball and long. the plant itself isn't very big though and i highly doubt he is growing some big varieties like beef stake as we don't have the space for those.

so im wondering are these actually roma tomatoes or some other cherry type as i would like to grow one of them

I just started high school 4 days ago. The school is really nice and there are so many people who are new to me. In my English and Biology class, there's this girl that I saw. She's pretty and she seems rather quiet. I've looked at her a few times, and she's looked back at me sometimes. In the hallway, she looked at me first, but I tried not to look back because I'm really shy when it comes to girls. I also held the door open for her. Two days ago, after school, I was in line to get on the bus for a golf practice, and I saw her come out of the school ready to go to soccer practice. She was with her friends. I believe she saw me, because she turned to her friend and looked in my direction. She and her friends were talking, and I heard one of them say, "Say hi to him!". Like I said, I don't really know if they were talking about me, but I was the only person in the area who has a class with her. Yesterday, it didn't seem like she noticed me though. And at freshman welcome night, I think her and her friends saw me. But neither of us made an attempt to talk to each other. I know it's really early to tell, but is there a chance she likes me? How can I introduce myself to her in a normal way? Do you have any tips to make sure she likes me? Other things? Thanks

Asked: Random Dreams Every Night?

I only remember a select few, the rest I forgot after the first few hours… but the point is that I remember them going on.
Anyways, the ones I do remember consist of the following events:

First dream:
I'm in gym class at a school (which I've never seen before), there's this pale kid (which I've also never seen before) that pisses me off and I follow him to his next class in an attempt to beat him up… but when he enters the corridor the dream shifts, and I wake up.

Second dream:
I go out to a big house on a green cliff overlooking the ocean with a group of friends, we were doing something… watching fireworks maybe? I forget. But I think we stayed over night, but the dream shiften as soon as it got dark and it turned to day time. At this point a girl I use to like before I moved got in a golf cart with me and we started driving towards my old neighborhood… the dream shifted again and we were racing down busy streets with small apartments on another cliff overlooking the sea (looked kind of like an Asian country) on motor cycles… the dream shifts again, I was in a white-ish bedroom, and there was a HUGE fly buzzing around. I was scared of it, but also trying to kill it. Once I killed it, I woke up.

There are more dreams, I know it, but I've forgotten most of them. What do they mean? Also, why am I all of the sudden remembering my dreams every night for the passed month or two? I haven't drempt since I was 5.
